DESCRIPTION:
European, 3-Chain Fusee, Victorian Double chime bracket clock, playing your choice of Westminster on gongs or Whittington on bells, followed by an hour count on a large flat wire cathedral gong. The silvered brass chapter ring applied to a well engraved and silvered mask, and with subsidiary dials in the arch for Strike/Silent, F/S, and Westm/8-bells.
CONDITION:
this clock has been nicely cleaned and the dial re-silvered. Mov't seems to tick, strike, chime, bell spacers need slight adjustment. There is a light film of surface rust on the inside of the gongs. Note chains are not aligned for smooth winding and you may need to spend a little time on this before winding fully. Ht 15"
